Our Story

Some legacies are inherited. Some are fought for.

In 2016, Taylor lost his dad, Mont Sweat—“Mad Dog #56”, to cancer. Taylor was left with memories, stories, and a number that meant so much more than just a number on a car.

Today, Taylor carries his dad’s legacy onto the derby track. With his wife and three kids by his side. He competes in the M56 car, and he's got his wife in car #47. Together we strive to keep his dad’s name, spirit, and passion for demolition derby alive with every hit.

That’s a huge part of why we created this apparel line.

We wanted real derby gear, stuff we would actually wear ourselves. But we also wanted a way to honor Mont, keep #56 alive, and create designs that celebrate the sport and the people who live it.

Every piece we make is a little bit of our story, a little bit of derby, and a whole lot of Mad Dog #56.

His time may have been cut short. His legacy wasn’t.

#56 Lives On.
